We will take you to a private family-run winery and will also be given a tour of the family’s cellars.
Unlike a typical, formal tasting event, our wine-tasting tour close to Florence is an immersive experience where you’ll delve into the rich history of the winery and the family who continues to produce wine using centuries-old techniques unique to this region. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with a genuine Tuscan family and experience their passion for winemaking firsthand.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with a local Tuscan family.
The tour kicks off with a visit to the vineyards. We will see the Chianti grapes up close and learn about the varieties used to craft these exceptional wines. After exploring the fields, we head back to the winery for an exclusive guided tasting session featuring wines made right on-site.
The experience concludes with a traditional Tuscan lunch, offering a taste of authentic local cuisine, followed by a comprehensive tour of the wine cellar. This wine-tasting tour near Florence is truly a feast for the senses and a journey into the heart of Tuscan wine culture.
Tour departs at 10:00 am from our shop in Via dei Pandolfini 31/red in the centre of Florence and returns around 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm. Please note that the return time may vary.
Taste traditional Tuscan Chianti wines, explore and learn about this historic, family owned vineyard and the process, winemakers, cellars and vines that create it. With your wine you will enjoy a classic Tuscan lunch and taste some of the beautiful olive oil also produced on site (we can accomodate dietary requirements).
You will be accompanied by tour guides fluent in both English and Italian, eager to have fun and showcase this beautiful region and culture.
Transportation from our shop to the winery and back is included, you will be driven in a comfortable, air conditioned van. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.

1. No Show Policy: If you do not show up for your reservation, you automatically forfeit any and all deposits or payments made towards the booking.
2. Rain Policy: In the case of inclement weather, you will receive a full refund of your deposit or payment as long as you show up for the reservation at 10 am. If you do not show up to confirm the cancellation you automatically forfeit any and all deposits or payments made towards the booking.
3. Cancellations: All guests can cancel their reservation up to 48 hours before the tour and receive a full refund of the deposit.
4. A deposit of 20% is paid online. The balance you will pay on the day of the tour.
