Florence Italy attractions: ride like a local!

It’s that time of year again – the time when all you students from America and all over Europe start your semester abroad. You move to a new country in the hopes of immersing yourself in the local history, food and culture and you want to know Florence Italy attractions. Well, in Florence, there is no better way to get to know your new stomping grounds then to go get lost down the little winding alleys that make up this magnificent city. Florence, as you will soon realize, is small enough to try and see it all before the semester is over!

Car or Vespa? Rent a bike to reach Florence Italy attractions

Some students might try to rent a car or vespa (read the history of Vespa here) in which to zip around the city, but these kids are the newbs. Most of the center is closed to public traffic, and don’t even think about trying to park! Better alternative instead of endlessly pounding the cobblestones on foot? Do as the locals do, and get around by bike! It’s the easiest way to get around the city and out into the surrounding areas. Easily wind your way through the center making it from one side of the city to the other in just a half hour.
